Avera has an exciting opportunity to be the first impression of Avera as a Patient Flow Representative for patient registration and scheduling.

Job Summary

Serves as a member of the provider’s Care Team in coordinating the flow of patients through managing phone calls, schedules and assisting provider and nurse with various clinical responsibilities as requested. Serves as the first point of contact for the patient to the Care Team.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree and three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience required.

• Written and oral communication skills and medical terminology experience preferred.

• Computer knowledge and skills preferred.

  Work Schedule

• This is a PRN position.

• No weekends or holidays.

  Pay

  The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $17.50 - $21.25 per hour
