About the Role:

Maxar has an opening for a Sr Manager, Business Development on the strategic defense partnership team. You will be responsible foridentifying, assessing, and generating demand to execute enhanced offerings within our strategic defense partnership portfolio.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders to meet annual revenue and booking quotas, while developing and implementing the growth strategy set by leadership and other cross-functional teams. The role requires a technical team player and peer leader with a focus on increasing awareness and adoption of Maxar's robust earth observation imagery solutions and capabilities.

This role will focus on driving partnership and sales initiatives targeting US Department of Defense programs. Youwill utilize yourtechnical understanding of Maxar's robust geospatial and imagery offerings to build high value solutions through partnering with defense primes, emerging defense technology companies, and other prospective partners with complimentary technologies and capabilities.Your success will be founded on your experience with US Government customers, enabling you to drive integrations with partners that provide unique value. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about the mission, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement growth strategy alongside of account leads to execute enhanced offerings

Convey and execute on technicalvision, positioning Maxar's capabilities with customersmission

Identify areas for growth and positioning that drives adoption of products and services

Assess competitive risk using financial, statistical, and economic data and identify manageable solutions for customers

Work cross collaboratively within internal and external stakeholders

Support Sales and Marketing teams in the development of product positioning, presentations, press releases, product workshops, training workshops, and customer visits

Strengthen and progress deep business and technical relationships through your knowledge of our US Government customers

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business or political science; work experience may be substituted

10+ years of experience working in, or for, the civil sciencecommunity or government

Excellent cross-functional skills across customers, sales, strategy, marketing, product, legal, and operations

Illustrated success in achieving revenue targets

Self-starter with demonstrated success working in a deadline-driven environment with minim l supervision

Flexible with the ability to work independently and on teams

Strategic approach to product positioning
