Oracle Applications Sales Representative in Washington, District Of Columbia

Job Description

We are searching for a Communications Sales Representative to primarily sell applications to the telecoms industry. The Communications portfolio is focused on the BSS, OSS and Services Assurance sector of the market.

Sells product directly or via partners to a list of named accounts across the USA.

Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation, and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 10 years of applicable sales experience. Successful sales track record. Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills. Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers. Travel will be needed. Bachelor degree or work experience equivalent.

Responsibilities

We are searching for a Communications Sales Representative to primarily sell applications to the telecoms industry. The Communications portfolio is focused on the BSS, OSS and Services Assurance sector of the market. Sells product directly or via partners to a list of named accounts across the USA.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience sales representative with at least 10 years of successful enterprise solution sales with experience selling into the Communications sector.

  • Experience selling primarily OSS and Service Assurance solutions. Additionally, BSS experience would be an advantage but not essential.

  • Must have experience working with Channel Partners / Resellers / carrier MSP’s / large network focused companies.

  • Experience selling highly complex solutions.

  • Demonstrable use-case based solution selling skills.

  • Ability to scale customer organization from technical operators to the C-Suite and lines of business.

  • Deep understanding of working with channel partners and MSP’s

  • Ability to identify, create and close new business in new accounts, keen business development skills are a key prerequisite

Additional Qualifications:

  • Sales Professional ability to Hunt and Farm in existing and scale across assigned accounts)

  • Solutioning (capable of taking our applications and building solutions for customers / prospects)

  • Collaborative (build a relationship with internal and external resources for success)

  • Closer (have track record of growing revenue)

Organization (ability to handle multiple accounts at once)

US: Hiring Range: from $125,000 to $207,400 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 45/55 - 50/50.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
