Oracle Oracle Cloud Data Integration & Migration Engineer / Architect in South Korea

Job Description


We are seeking a Principal Data Integration Architect with a strong track record of designing, developing, migrating, and managing data integration and replication solutions to join our Korea Cloud Engineer team. Experience with Oracle’s and/or competitive products in the industry are required along with passion, curiosity, and technical depth!

This role requires the data integration architect to be deeply technical and work closely with our sales teams, cloud architects and customers to help them adopt Oracle’s Data Integration, GoldenGate Replication and Streaming solutions and services on OCI. Candidates must have a solid understanding and proven experience in OCI Data integration, OCI GoldenGate and Streaming. The Architect will engage with customers to discover business problems and goals and develop solutions using Oracle’s Cloud subscription services and on-premises licensed products. Work collaboratively with the customer to document the current state architecture, design the future state, and develop a path for data platform modernization.

  • Career Level – IC4 **

  • Be a trusted advisor to the customers. Develop and present business cases, industry trends, competitive differentiators, in alignment with the go-to-market product and solution strategy.

  • As a cloud engineer (or specialist), provide technical proof points or drive proof of value to the customer with Oracle Data Integration and GoldenGate solutions(@on-prem and cloud).

  • Maintain mastery of the Oracle Data Integrator, OCI Data Integration and GoldenGate portfolio and intimate knowledge of industry trends, design patterns, development/deployment methodologies, and competitive cloud offerings while evangelizing solutions.

  • Inspire confidence and quickly establish connection, credibility, trust, and influence with customer from business executives to IT staff.

  • Influence customer’s Data Integration strategy, architecture, roadmap, and migration planning

  • Maintain relevant advanced-level competency across the data integration ecosystem including knowledge of competitors or partners like Shareplex or Informatica.


Data Engineer with 10+ years of hands-on experience working on Data Integration, GoldenGate and Streaming

Required Skills:

  • Must have demonstrated experience in data flow from various sources and be able to integrate data from multiple sources like Oracle Database, SQL Server, Kafka to targets like ERP Systems and Big Data

  • Deep knowledge designing high volume solutions, troubleshooting and performance tuning.

  • Experience with migrating solutions from on-premises to Oracle or other Clouds

  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Dedicated, analytical, and results oriented with proven sound judgment.

  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills (such as presentation and demo skills)

  • Cloud technical certifications in either Oracle, AWS, Azure or GCP

Preferred Skills:

  • Candidates preferably should have worked with recent versions of Oracle products – ODI Marketplace, OCI Data Integration and GoldenGate

  • Understanding of Oracle’s Applications like ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud, EBS, JD Edwards, Peoplesoft or OTM

  • Understanding and programming skills: Java, Python, SQL, Shell etc. (at minimum one language)

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree is desired, and master’s degree is preferred with relevant experience.

  • Fluent Korean and Intermediate level of English

  • Availability to travel and work onsite at customers.
