Robert Half Finance Manager in Tustin, California

Description Robert Half is seeking a FP& A Manager for our well-respected client! The FP& A Manager must be able to multitask and work under multiple tight deadlines at once, as well as excellent analytical capabilities and strong verbal and writing skills. Your responsibilities

  • Oversee the employee hiring process, including recruiting, selecting, training, evaluating, and retaining employees

  • Provide key financial analysis to enable both day-to-day and strategic decisions

  • Produce key financial analysis to support strategic and day-to-day decisions

  • Execute financial valuation and analysis for mergers and acquisitions

  • Provide support for regulatory filings

  • Analyze financials for the forecasting and corporate budgeting processes

  • Participate in and contribute to cross-functional development teams to address strategic issues

  • Develop operating budget and forecasts by estimating the costs and benefits of operating plans during the annual budget development cycle

  • Prepare financial models and data mining tools for variance analysis

  • Test fiscal and budget assumptions in the development of operating plans

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the financial planning team

  • Direct and lead financial analysis and developing short- and long-term financial forecasts

  • Contribute to financial deliverables for the executive team Requirements - Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required

  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus

  • Capable of analyzing complex business problems, proposing effective solutions and understanding and applying business vision and direction

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative abilities

  • Previous experience with computer software, including writing macros in Excel, Access, financial Modeling and other accounting packages

  • Strong business acumen required

  • 2+ years of FP& A supervisory/leadership experience

  • 8+ years of experience in FP& A required
