Virgin Galactic Marcomm Manager in Tustin, California

The Manager, Marcomm will work a hybrid schedule from our Tustin CA office 3x per week.

  • Executes the defined go-to-market strategy. Manage the sales and customer marketing program across all direct, channel, and pre-sales campaigns including sales asset development, copy writing, direct marketing communications development.

  • Support brand and marketing events including but not limited to managing content, messaging, run of show and execution in partnership with the broader communications and brand marketing team.

  • Live stream program manager – project managing the end to end project plan for all Virgin Galactic live stream productions.

  • Brand and marketing partner for merchandise program and partnerships.

  • Responsible for executing end to end Virgin Galactic internal employee brand and corporate brand activations and programs.

  • Project manager for all production and design workstreams. A centralized role that manages the work back plans and status meetings to keep work on track.

  • Digital content manager – including creating strategy for digital content to support workflows within social media programs. [working in partnership with the social media manager and in collaboration with creative and production teams].

  • Responsible for overseeing and executing website updates and website management across Virgin Galactic and IR website.

Qualifications

  • Customer Insights: Ability to understand and interpret customer data, behaviors, and feedback into conclusions that can be used to make marketing decisions

  • Able to build cross-platform traditional, digital, and social marketing programs

  • Degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or business

  • Experience as a Marketing Communications Coordinator, Advertising, Events, Sales, or Promotions Specialist

  • Strong verbal communication skills

  • Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills

  • Ability to multi-task and think quickly on one’s feet using independent judgment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills

  • Demonstrates success in writing compelling creative briefs

The annual U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $85,900.00–$130,900.00. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, and experience and take into account internal equity. Other forms of pay (e.g., bonus or long term incentive) may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
