Develop costing assumptions to ensure accurate product costs and inventory valuation. Investigate, analyze, and interpret cost variances, synthesize and communicate insight to site finance leadership and manufacturing operations teams.
Prepare and analyze standard product cost rolls, collaborating with engineering and product development to ensure accurate costing of bill of material and routing
Report and analyze site cost savings initiatives, identify opportunities to lower product costs and increase manufacturing efficiencies
Support the development of cost allocation methodology and routing assumptions
Support sourcing decisions such as make vs. buy
Investigate and analyze variances to standard, including labor efficiency, scrap, usage, and purchase price variances
Provide support on annual budget and monthly forecasting processes
Assist with analyzing monthly results, investigating differences vs. plan, forecast, and prior year
Prepare cost and efficiency reporting as required to support manufacturing goals
Develop costing and analysis to support new product development activities
Partner with site finance team to communicate and relate financial measurements to non-financial functions to motivate and challenge the Knoll team to reach their full potential
Business partner and an active participant and contributor to the continuous improvement process at Knoll for Finance and Site Supply Chain

Commitment to quality
Bachelor's degree in accounting discipline (or related experience) is required
CGA, CMA or CPA required (or Minimum of 2 years cost accounting/analysis experience, preferably in a standard cost environment
Excellent advanced excel skills required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to think creatively and solve problems.
Strong team orientation
Experience with ORACLE EBS or JDE an asset
Experience within a manufacturing environment an asset
