What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Decision Support Vendor, Asset & Expense Management, the Director is responsible for vendor governance across multiple LOBs in the Technology Operations organization. This includes key cross-LOB collaboration on strategic vendor agreements, vendor relationship management activities, governance and expense management and executive communications in support of the minimalization of supplier risk to our bank.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Relationship Building & Communications : Create value-additive relationships with key contacts at major suppliers and internal Technology Operations teams and form partnerships to ensure successful vendor governance and quality vendor execution. Run vendor governance sessions with senior executive audiences and manage communications and actionable deliverables.

  • Strategic Thinking: Create and drive strategies with business partners to maximize value from our vendor partnerships, looking for efficiencies, cost savings opportunities and business alignment, while conforming to the bank’s compliance standards and risk tolerances.

  • Leadership with Authenticity: Be a bold and authentic leader who is passionate about bringing disparate teams together for a common goal, bringing out the best in people. Support and mentor through knowledge sharing, collaboration and effective problem solving.

  • Innovation: Provides thought leadership, seek out innovative solutions and embrace evolving market trends. Strategically influence Technology & Operations leaders as required relative to technology solutions, vendor capabilities, regulatory & compliance matters, and technical feasibility.

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate experience in: vendor governance, vendor agreements, regulatory and compliance frameworks, strategic analysis, design, and implementation of vendor proposals. You have experience with Risk management tools and processes to mitigate enterprise exposure.

  • You have strong knowledge of : Financial Institution structures, outsourcing practices within the financial industry, vendor governance frameworks, regional regulatory and compliance requirements.
