The Custom Product Designer is responsible for creating layouts on C.A.D. models of components and assemblies.
Technical degree or technical diploma plus one (1) year working experience
Must haveminimum three (3) years Pro Engineer experience and/or Solidworks
Working knowledge of ANSI standards
Mechanical aptitude, commitment to quality
Knowledge of manufacturing materials and processes
Excellent oral and written communication skills (English)
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
Layout and create detail drawings of components
Resolve product design issues based on manufacturing constraints
Ability to work with both metric and imperial measurements
Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently
Review Bill of Materials for errors
Become an active participant and contributor to the continuous improvements process at Knoll
