The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable processes, exceptional organizational skills, and proven experience in managing a team. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.

• Manage a team of accounts payable specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure departmental goals are met.

• Review and approve payment batches, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies and address vendor inquiries in a timely manner.

• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounts payable function.

• Prepare month-end close activities related to accounts payable, including reconciliations and accruals.

• Assist with ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed.

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in accounts payable.

• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.

• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Great Plains, Oracle, etc).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
