Park Nicollet Health Services Manager, Supply Chain Logistics in St. Louis Park, Minnesota

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Supply Chain Logistics Manager to join our team! Position Summary: This Supply Chain Logistics Manager is responsible for management of Supply Chain Logistics, including patient chargeable equipment and supplies, receiving and distribution supply processes and the creation and implementation of pull inventory systems across the clinic and hospital departments from time of product use to time of stock replenishment in storage areas and point of use locations. This position provides leadership in planning, supervising, and directing pull inventory activities for Park Nicollet Health Services that ensure availability of the right product, at the right time in the right quantity, at the right place. This position places strong emphasis on supporting Lean Kaizen activities across all service lines, eliminating waste, and striving to continually improve supply workflow processes across the clinics and hospital. This position is also responsible for managing systems and staff responsible for the retrieval, processing, and distribution of inter-office and external mail, packages, records, specimens, x-rays, supplies, and materials. Work Schedule: 1.0 FTE Monday - Friday Variable - Predominantly day shift with needs on other shifts as needed Required Qualifications: Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: Bachelor's degree 8 years of work experience within a Material Services' function is required Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: Must achieve Lean Certification under the PNHS' program. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Personal computers, LAN applications with word processing, spreadsheet, data management, email, and Microsoft Outlook. Laser printers, telephone, photocopier/fax machine, overhead projector. Preferred Qualifications: Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: A bachelor's degree in business administration is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: General understanding of Material Services' functions. A solid knowledge of inventory management processes is required based on Lean principles of supply management. Good project management, organizational, analytical and leadership and customer service skills. Proficient knowledge and understanding of Lean principles. Knowledge of Material Services software systems. Strong PC skills including spreadsheet, Access, Lawson data base and word processing.
