Rady Children's Hospital San Diego Human Resources Representative - Human Resources in San Diego, California

This is a casual position that will last six months.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the HR Manager, the HR Representative supports the human resources department by providing first point of contact for all callers, visitors, and employees. The HR Rep assists HR team members with projects and initiatives as identified by HR Leadership. Provides excellent service to internal and external customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED or equivalent

One year of HR / administrative experience

Working knowledge of MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel). PeopleSoft experience is a plus.

Attention to detail and strong follow-through skills

Ability to engage with challenging customers with tact and consideration, both on the phone and in person

Ability to handle multiple projects, work in a fast-paced environment, and work under frequent job pressure generated by tight deadlines.

Experience in a Human Resources department performing similar functions or an equivalent combination of HR education and administrative experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree

Two or more years of experience

Bilingual (English / Spanish)

Strong proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems

The expected hiring range for this position is $22.00 to $30.25
