A booming manufacturing company in the Saint Paul area is looking for a press brake operator for their busy shop on the 1st and 2nd shift! This press brake operator job offers a weekly paycheck and excellent benefits. All experience levels encouraged to apply. Location: Saint Paul, MN Wage: $18 30/hr., DOE Hours: 1st Shift: 6 am - 3:30 pm, Monday Thursday 2nd Shift: 4 pm - 2:30 am, Monday Thursday Benefits of the press brake operator: Health Vision Dental Life FSA Critical Disability Accident Referral bonus Job Duties of the press brake operator: Press Brake Set-Up / Operator - Class C ($18 - 21/hr. DOE/Q) Understand all basic machine and controller functions Install standard tooling (aligned properly) Create a road map from the print Working knowledge (knows the names) of tools, holders, stops (terms that HPM uses) Owns all the necessary tooling to complete setup Basic tool requirements are: Caliper, Allen wrenches, a square, rubber hammer, a protractor, 13mm open-ended wrench Understands bend deductions, to mathematically calculate to a stretch out Can perform in-process inspections; can understand, monitor, and maintain tolerances Basic troubleshooting skills Press Brake Set-Up / Operator - Class B ($22.50 - 25.50/hr. DOE/Q) (also requires all "C" functions): Complete understanding ( more than basic) of all machine functions and operations Prepare required in-process approval forms to instruct operators of usage of forms and properly audit Ability to make adjustments to all programs and machine to maintain tolerance without supervision Ability to manage ADVANCED blueprint reading; understand print views, identify tolerances Complete First Article inspections Can prepare and install custom tooling; able to set up multiple die sets and shim the tools properly Press Brake Set-Up / Operator - Class A ($27 - $30/hr. DOE/Q) (also requires all "B" & "C" functions): Recognize the need for a process change and incorporate when needed Complete blueprint reading ability and understanding; locate, identify calculate, and check Critical inspection criteria as needed Must be able to answer any dimensional questions Ability to troubleshoot and correct process problems, machine problems, and program problems Instruct and monitor operators for tolerances, appearance, quality, safety, efficiency, and rates Act in a " lead "capacity Perform all setups, regardless of difficulty, from preparation through actual set up Can assist, train, mentor, coach, and direct operators and set up personnel Will assume a leadership role, with training, planning, and scheduling Additional information: Apply today!
