TEKsystems Healthcare Customer Service Billing Assistant in ROCHESTER, New York

Description:

  • Answer inbound calls from customers about their financial needs and account inquiries.

  • Working with the billing team doing verification work on the back end.

  • Processing new information through patient accounts.

  • If information is missing, finding ways to obtain that information by doing outreach.

  • Working with paper reports and processing them into the system.

  • Research customer accounts and navigate multiple screens to obtain correct information.

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries.

  • Use creative resolutions to help solve customer issues.

  • Follow all policy procedures and policies.

  • Educate clients on benefits of products and services.

Requirements:

  • Highschool diploma or higher.

  • Proficient in customer service and electronic documentation.

  • Professional demeanor with internal and external customers.

  • Previous successful customer service roles.
