Job Information:

Four (4) needed, Combined Occupations of SOC Code 51-3011 Bakers and 35-3023 Fast Food and Counter Workers.

Start date is 08/01/2024, End date is 11/17/2024 Monday through Saturday and Sundays during peak season. The first shift is from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. The second shift will be 8:00 am to 8 pm. Workers will alternate between 1^st^ and 2nd shift 6 to 7 days per week in September and October. August and November will be 5 to days per week.

Job Duties and Requirements:

Workers will operate a robotic donut frying machine. Machine is a Belashaw Mark II Donut Maker. It is approximately 5 feet long X 2.5 feet wide. Using the machine, the worker may make between 25 -- 37 dozen donuts per hour during busy times of day/ sea son. Workers may mix donut mix and feed into donut dispenser apparatus attached to the machine. Workers shall hand dip each cooked donut into a bowl of donut icing by hand and place it on cooling racks by hand to be packaged for sale to customers. Workers may prepare pie crusts and pie fillings by hand by dumping contents from commercial tabletop mixing machine bowl into preformed dough-based pie crusts to be baked in commercial oven. Workers may serve already prepared Apple Cider drink by pouring into cups or mugs to sale to customer. Workers will follow instruction from supervisors to clean & sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware. Store food in designated areas to prevent spoilage. Interact with retail customers to serve food and clean dining areas.

Wage Offer(s) and Availability of Overtime Pay: $16.03 per Hour, hours worked over 40 in one work week will be paid at 1 ½ times the regular rate.

Availability of On-the-Job Training: Food Service experience is helpful but employer will provide 3 days of on the job training in specific usage of their machines and operations.

Single Workweek for Pay: Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.

Frequency of Pay: Workers are paid weekly.

Provision of Board/Lodging or Other Facilities: Employer will provide free housing to workers who request it. Housing is located at the worksite and is at no cost to the worker.

Deductions from Worker's Paycheck: All deductions required by law will be made from the worker's paycheck. Social security, federal and state (if applicable) taxes will only be deducted from foreign H-2B workers upon written request. All workers are subject to reasonable repair cost of damage, other than that caused by normal wear and tear, may be charged to worker found to have been responsible for damage to housing or furnishings. Workers who quit or are terminated for cause prior to completing 50% of the contract will be required to reimburse the employer for the full amounts of advanced and/or reimbursed transportation and subsistence.

Inbound/Outbound Transportation and Subsistence: The employer offers prearranged chartered or commercial bus, van, or plane whichever is the most economical and reasonable means for the distance involved for the inbound and outbound worker's travel. The employer will reimburse the worker for transportation costs and daily subsistence to the employer's work site from the place of which they have come when the worker completes 50% of the work period or is terminated without cause and the employer will at the end of the contract, advance or pay t
