What success looks like in this role:

The Finance Director: Provides overall leadership in planning, reporting, analytics, modeling, etc., for Corporate FP&A. Acts as a critical partner (and provides active support) to the BU Finance team, Corporate Accounting, Finance Centralized Services, Investor Relations and Corp HQ Functions. Acts as both a visionary and a source of execution for the continued transformation of the Corporate FP&A Function

Day to Day Responsibilities: Leads both the short and long-term enterprise-wide integrated planning process to create meaningful financial  plans that guide the organization and drive for the achievement of financial and operational objectives. Executes insightful scenario planning and sensitivity analytics. Provides meaningful variance  analysis comparing financial results with all relevant comparison  points. Provides business narrative to  bring the figures to life and drive action. Leverages financial expertise and robust business acumen to provide comprehensive decision support. Actively contributes to the creation of strategic and tactical plans. Creates actionable management  reporting to drive a deep understanding of financial and operational  performance, including through the use of key performance indicators (KPIs). Provides financial modeling to  drive an understanding of the short and long-term financial (P&L, Balance  Sheet and Cash Flow) implications for significant business decisions and/or  investments. Challenges the  assumptions made by headquarters and the business units (business partners). Innovates in the area of business analytics, to identify and execute new models that can deliver true business insights. Constantly identifies new ways to align data with business knowledge and deliver new value. Actively identifies ways to eliminate non-value work and leverages automation whenever possible. Actively engages as part of the FP&A leadership team and constantly challenges the status quo (processes,  technology, models, etc.). Looks to develop less senior team members, through direct and indirect mentoring. Provides insight and direct support (modeling, reporting, etc.) to the VP of Investor Relations and the  VP of Corporate Development. Provides comprehensive intelligence and reporting for the quarterly earnings process, including for MD&A as well as investor meetings. Optimizes the data and systems that provide the foundation for all relevant activities. Works cross-functionally to help improve FP&A deliverables Supports the Controller organization by providing business perspective for accounting  activities. Collaborates on revenue recognition, expense accruals and other book closing activities

You will be successful in this role if you have: Key Qualifications: B.A. or B.S in finance,  accounting, economics or business is required. MBA or CPA would be a plus; and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in positions of increasing responsibility. Must have experience managing a team of Finance professionals. Experience managing remote teams highly preferred.

Extensive business acumen and cross-functional knowledge.

Ability to lead through influence in a complex, global organization.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a specific ability to articulate complex topics to business users.

A process oriented mind-set with an eye for constant improvement. Experience driving significant change within a Finance organization is required.

Experience using the latest technologies supporting business/sales  operations, financial planning, data visualization and analytics. A deep understanding of data and the value it represents for an  organization. Experience with using  data (governance, warehousing, querying, analytics, etc.) and using it to  solve business problems.

Experience working with and creating financial statements.

Advanced MS Excel and Powerpoint skills. MS BI experience is preferred.

Experience executing tasks that lead to direct revenue generation or net income improvement.
