Seeking a curious, creative, business-minded person with a passion for design and products. The KnollStudio Marketing Manager will be a voice of leadership at Knoll. This individual will share product management responsibilities for KnollStudio’s portfolio with their counterpart in Marketing. They will interact regularly with the appropriate Marketing, Design and Supply Chain personnel to strategize and grow KnollStudio’s market share in both the contract and residential distribution channels. This position has no direct reports and is an individual contributor within the amazing KnollStudio Marketing team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Formulate marketing strategies and assist in creating a product development plan

  • Project Management: Implement launch plan for new products, finishes, and line extensions

  • Maintain marketing and sales materials (price list, brochures, sales presentation)

  • Develop competitive research for your product category

  • Develop and deliver product training

  • Field sales team inquiries and requests

  • Problem solve to make day-to-day decisions that drive results

  • Position requires a balance of qualitative and quantitative analysis, combined with strong intuitive sense

  • Successfully develop collaborative relationships with internal and external suppliers, stakeholders and customers, as well as design partners

  • Possess excellent written and oral communications skills

Required Skills

  • MBA preferred (not required)

  • Bachelor’s degree required preferably with an emphasis in marketing, design liberal arts or related fields

  • Three years of product marketing related experience required

  • Strong design sensitivity

  • Background in contract or residential furniture or other design-related experience preferred

  • Team oriented, creative thinker, problem solver

  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications

  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
