DIRECTV Ad Sales - Lead Product Development Project Manager in New York, New York

DIRECTV is seeking a Lead Product Development Manager on our Ad Sales Product Development and Operations team. This experienced professional with expertise in Product and Project Management serves as a consultant to Ad Sales Product Managers using a company product, assists in development of strategies for clients’ use of company platforms, and helps navigate products through inception/funding/development/launch. The Lead Product Development Manager is knowledgeable about product development as well as project management. In this role, you will be expected to be able to work independently, requiring consistent exercise of discretion and judgment, while providing advice and counsel to client and/or stakeholders.

Here's what you’ll do:

  • Oversee Ad Sales product development and project management processes, across all DIRECTV Ad Sales Product lines.

  • Partner with all our Ad Sales and teams including Product, Operations, Pricing & Planning, Inventory, Finance, Traffic, Research, and Billing Ops.

  • Navigate as well as partner with key development teams (ART Leads, RTEs, Scrum Teams, Cross-Factory Stakeholders).

  • Timely resolution and problem-solving of escalations for all teams mentioned above.

  • Ad hoc reporting requests in support of business, or creative solutioning when canned reporting doesn’t exist.

  • Make recommendations for opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency.

Day to day activities may include, but not limited to:

  • Drive the product pricing and packaging roadmap to protect revenue sources.

  • Coordinate between product, development, testing, operations, and sales teams to ensure we meet the Ad Sales Roadmap.

  • Partner with product, development, testing, operations, and sales teams to understand drivers of their business and correlate pricing strategies accordingly.

  • Written documentation to provide consistent overviews of process and status of development.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • 3 - 5 years of Product Development/Project Management, or similar fields relative to the role.

  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years of media experience.

  • Ability to collaborate on the delivery of product roadmap features, enhancements, and project management.

  • Effective time management skills and strong multi-tasking capabilities to adjust and remain flexible to company priorities.

  • Strong communication and people skills. Ability to negotiate and adapt to stakeholder insights.

  • Exceptionally organized and detail oriented.

  • Proven leadership and problem-solving skills.

This role requires approximately, but not limited to, 5% travel.

This is a New York City, NY, based position. Relocation assistance is not available.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position and work location(s) listed in the job posting US Labor Market Zone(s). Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

DIRECTV WAGE ZONE

N4: $140,875 - $211,255

Please note that the salary ranges reflect base salary only and do not include bonus or benefits - when you consider all of these together, it represents a pretty impressive total compensation package.
