POSITION PROFILE

KnollStudio, a division of the classic modern furniture design company Knoll Inc., is seeking an Associate Marketing Manager to help support the KnollStudio Marketing Team. This position will report to the Director of Marketing for KnollStudio.

The Associate Marketing Manager will support the KnollStudio Marketing Team with a focus on managing assets (image library), supporting the price list development, tracking sampling and ordering showroom displays. Other responsibilities will include developing PowerPoints and supporting our retailer program.

Bachelor’s degree required. One-three years business experience in a design-related field preferred. The candidate should have a meticulous attention to detail, be self-motivated and results driven as well as team orientated, with an ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse functional areas. Must be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with Excel, Adobe Photoshop preferred.

Detailed Tasks

  • Assist with managing various assets and materials including gathering installation photos and developing/updating PowerPoints

  • Help to manage showroom displays (including retail shops) including managing and tracking orders and helping to specify vignettes; analyze overall product gaps and needs in various showrooms

  • Assist in ordering product for photoshoots and manage/track marketing inventory

  • Manage YTD sales data spreadsheet

  • Manage price list additions and edits

  • Track sampling finishes (veneers, marbles, paint samples), including working with vendor on reorders and managing printing and proofin

  • Sales Meeting Planning as needed

  • Retailer Support

  • Run Knoll Space monthly report

  • Update and maintain bill of materials for Knoll Space binder (for Thoroughbred)

  • Update and maintain Knoll Space directory and email Outlook distribution groups

  • Send out literature and hi res requests

  • Update all retailer contracts at end of year, send out and manage signed return

  • Retailer Sales Support

  • Create “Sale Calendar” for the year

  • Draft Knoll Space sale packet for each of the four sales

  • Organize online sale folders with all graphics, advertising, co-op, invoices and budget information at end of promotion

  • Sale Incentives – write POs and monitor acknowledgments

  • New Retailer Set Up

  • Set Up in Dealer Directory, establish Knoll Exchange and Literature Center access

  • Send resale certificate to CS rep and Megan Moyer

  • Send out introductory package to retailer: sample box, textile binder, window decal, cutsheets and P&P binder

  • Knoll Space New Product Promotions

  • Send out new samples and literature mailings

Required Skills

  • Individual should posses meticulous attention to detail

  • Must be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Required Experience

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint); Adobe Photoshop a plus.

  • 1-3 + years in a design-related field (highly preferred)
