Job Description Summary
Join us at our Muskegon site to help support production operations related to the manufacture of high-quality turbine airfoil products.
Essential Responsibilities:
Assemble and TIG weld aerospace castings and details.
Use fixtures, tools and gauges to produce aerospace parts meetings blueprint drawing tolerances.
Follow detailed work instructions.
Practice weld procedures per GE and Nadcap/AWS specifications.
Work in a team environment, participate in Action Workouts, and contribute to the LEAN Manufacturing workplace
Practice safe work habits and maintain a hazard-free work environment.
Requirements include:
Must have minimum of two years Gas Tungsten Arc welding experience (on the job or in the classroom).
Pass Gas Tungsten Arc Weld test on nickel base, cobalt base and stainless-steel alloys (groove and fillet welding per MIL-W-1595)
Must be able to complete qualification training on nickel and cobalt per AWS D17.1
Desirable Qualifications:
- Prefer 2 years of college or trade school background or professional industry equivalency
