We are seeking a proficient, ground-breaking Senior Digital Designer and inventive leader to join our North American culinary sector team. As the design head for our North American website, this individual should be an open-minded, empathetic advocate for the users while concurrently creating solutions in line with business objectives. The right candidate will be someone who believes that world-class designs are ones that are inclusive and cater to real-world issues, as well as being accessible to all.

The selected candidate would value teamwork, and have the ability to manage internal team relations, business client associations, and should be comfortable with the design-to-development transition process. They should be able to handle uncertainty in the initial stages of project discovery/brief writing and able to determine the chief business problems that require resolutions.

We're after a designer with an inquisitive nature who exhibits thought-leadership, a self-driven individual keen on independently spotting areas of potential and enhancement within the current user experience. The ideal candidate should appreciate presenting their work as much as creating it, and not shy away from explaining the rationale behind their creations.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting user research and accumulating user feedback to guide the design of digital products and services

• Developing user personas and use cases to steer product design and growth

• Crafting user interfaces that are intuitive, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing

• Creating wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs to exhibit design concepts and user flows

• Collaborating with various groups including product managers, delivery managers, analysts, developers, and other designers ensuring user needs are satisfied throughout the product evolution lifecycle

• Conducting usability and accessibility tests, user interviews to evaluate design concepts and implement iterative enhancements

• Analyzing user feedback and utilization data to progressively advance product design and user experiences

• Delivering clean, well-structured, and responsive website design conforming to digital best practices and brand guidelines.

Verifying currentness with rising design trends, technologies, and tools in the UX/UI design field

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Comprehensive knowledge of user-oriented design principles and methodologies including user research, user testing, and usability assessment.

• Expertise in Figma and Figjam.

• Experience with prototyping tools like Figma or Axure.

• Outstanding problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Great communication skills including the ability to present design concepts and user research findings to non-design stakeholders.

• Access to a well-designed portfolio demonstrating an understanding of design laws and principles, including relevant website designs for review.

• Solid understanding of WCAG 2.1 AA standards set by W3C.org

• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.

• Outstanding time management skills with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks and deliver consistently before deadlines.

• Experience designing for mobile apps, including task-related UI patterns, user flow diagrams, and task analysis is preferred.
