About the role

• Our payroll team, composed of 12 people, is integrated in the Global Business Services, HR service line, and focuses on delivering payroll for France in collaboration with all our internal clients.

• As a Payroll France Operations Specialist, you will be accountable for:

• Ensure payroll administration (employment contract, amendment...) and generate administrative documentation

• Manage some transversal activities linked to payroll (documentation,…)

• Manage sick leave and monitor IJSS reimbursement

• Administrate documents proof for certain types of payments (Prime Vacances,…)

• Ensure good relation with HR sites concerned

• Support payroll local team when activity peaks

• Contribute to Solvay's internal projects

• Contribute to Continuous Improvement projects

• We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode.

About you

• Relevant education degree in HR or equivalent

• Relevant work experience in French legal / social laws (3+ years)

• Competencies:

• SAP HR knowledge is a plus

• Native / Bilingual in French

• Good level of English

• Payroll knowledge is highly appreciate

• Behaviors:

• Needs to be flexible, to deal with unpredictable workload and prioritize tasks without direct supervision

• Meet strict deadlines, internal and external

• Maintain a high level of Payroll accuracy while supporting changes to processes and/or the implementation of new tools

• Cooperation within teams

About the pay and benefits

• Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the Portugal base pay reasonably expected for this role is 22 000 euros to 27 000 euros, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
