The Opportunity

Ally is seeking a Sales Specialist to join the Strategic Alliances Large Dealer Group team. The candidate will provide cross functional support across multiple teams and matrix partners, developing and maintaining key metrics and insights required by matrix partners and external clients. This role requires candidates to monitor trends, track results, elevate risk issues to management, and apply auto finance knowledge and judgment to interpret data. This position will also spend time participating in the development and maintenance of data interfaces between various information warehouses/reporting systems.

The Work Itself

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, monthly and AdHoc data and ensures the information is readily accessible to field sales, underwriting, and Strategic Alliances team
  • Act as liaison with sales team to help support corporate objectives
  • Communication with dealership personnel and outside stakeholders to request or follow-up with required information; escalate high risk issues to management
  • Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty and partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Provide problem-solving to resolve any emerging issues the customers may face
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations

The Skills You Bring

  • 1 + years in customer service or financial services industry preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in business related discipline preferred
  • Understanding of auto finance industry and dealership retail operations
  • Proficient understanding of Microsoft Office Suite; Sales Force.com; preferred
  • Communicating effectively and participating in a continuous improvement culture, including problem-solving skills
  • Strong business acumen, interpersonal professional interaction, fluency in project processes and problem-solving, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present technical data

Base Pay Range:

Emerging: 55000

Experienced: 75000

Expert: 95000

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan
