The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is a skilled and experienced professional responsible for leading and executing talent acquisition efforts. They collaborate closely with hiring managers and HR teams to identify staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and attract top-tier candidates. Their expertise in candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection ensures a high-quality talent pool for the organisation. The Senior Talent Acquisition Partners play a crucial role in driving successful hiring outcomes and contributing to the company's overall growth and success.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Guides on talent acquisition strategy in alignment with the organisation's overall business goals. This includes identifying talent needs, creating recruitment plans, and executing effective hiring strategies.

  • Manages candidate sourcing efforts using various channels, such as job boards, social media, networking, and talent databases, to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.

  • Implements candidate assessment methods and interview techniques to evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit with the organisation.

  • Guides on optimisation of the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring it is streamlined, efficient, and compliant with relevant labour laws and regulations.

  • Ability to use talent analytics and recruitment metrics to track and measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts, providing data-driven insights to make informed decisions.

  • Stays updated on recruitment technology trends and leverage relevant tools, such as applicant tracking systems (ATS) and CRM platform to optimize the recruitment process.

  • Good understanding of employment laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines throughout the recruitment process.

  • Act as an ambassador for the organisation's employer brand, promoting its values, culture, and opportunities to attract top talent.

  • Good understanding of the talent acquisition budget for their area, allocating resources appropriately to achieve recruitment goals while maintaining cost-efficiency.

  • Drives continuous improvement in talent acquisition practices, seeking opportunities to enhance recruitment outcomes and processes. Work closely with the relevant internal stakeholders to determine projected headcount requirements for our organisation to achieve its growth and service strategy.

  • Observe external markets to identify talent and use our organisations' employee value proposition, corporate benefits and high-performance culture to generate interest in potential employment.

  • Collaborate with line managers when a new job opening occurs to help them identify the exact skills set required, the best approaches to recruit for the position and to advise on the best method to fill the position for best long term business results.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  • In-depth knowledge of talent acquisition strategies, best practices, and industry trends to attract and retain top talent.

  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process, from candidate sourcing and assessment to offer management and onboarding.

  • Knowledge of relevant labour laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines related to talent acquisition and candidate selection.

  • Stays updated on talent market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor analysis to inform talent acquisition strategies.

  • Advanced experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and other technology used to streamline the recruitment process.

  • Strong ability to proactively source and attract candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking.

  • Ability to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit to ensure the right match for the organisation.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with candidates, hiring managers, team members and to craft job adverts ensuring good quality adverts are posted to external sites

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with candidates, stakeholders, and external partners.

  • Utilises talent analytics and recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts and make data-driven decisions.

  • Ability to adjust and adapt talent acquisition strategies to meet evolving business needs and market conditions.

  • Works collaboratively with hiring managers, HR colleagues, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and recruitment needs.

  • Focusses on achieving measurable results and driving continuous improvement in talent acquisition outcomes.

  • Open to new ideas and embracing innovative recruitment practices and technologies.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Relevant degree, e.g. Human Resources or Industrial Psychology

  • Relevant certifications

Required Experience:

  • Advanced demonstrated experience in talent sourcing, candidate assessment, and implementing best practices to attract and hire top candidates.

  • Advanced demonstrated experience building and maintaining positive relationships with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

  • Knowledge of employer branding strategies and initiatives to promote the organisation as an employer of choice and attract top talent.

  • Advanced demonstrated experience in developing and executing talent acquisition strategies aligned with the organisation's overall business objectives.

  • Advanced understanding of talent analytics and recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts and make data-driven decisions.

  • Advanced experience collaborating with hiring managers, HR colleagues, and other stakeholders to align talent acquisition efforts with business needs.

  • Knowledge of relevant labour laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines related to talent acquisition and candidate selection.

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and other tools to streamline the recruitment process.
