Providence St. Joseph Health Manager Supply Chain in Issaquah, Washington

Description The Manager, Materials Management Operations is chiefly accountable for the collaborative integration, implementation, and optimization of the One Supply Chain Management Operations (OSCM) and Logistics strategy at the local ministry level in close coordination with the Director, Region Supply Chain Operations. This position is responsible for Supply Chain departmental logistics operation, including implementing standardized system-developed supply chain strategic plans and polices, overseeing all local supply chain operations and logistics functions (Distribution/Receiving/Materials Operations/Warehousing/Pars/Inventory), directing supply chain operations staff, managing local vendor relationships and serving as the Supply Chain champion and liaison to Swedish executive staff, department directors/managers, other clinicians and physicians. This position also is responsible for working with key business and operational stakeholders within Swedish, as well as their peers within their specific Supply Chain Region; participating in, leading, and partnering with others on OSCM Operations and Logistics strategic integration efforts and programs; executing strategic plans around OSCM Operations and Logistics initiatives; ensuring a compliant, effective, and streamlined operational OSCM experience at Swedish; and leading efforts for system and region contract implementation, conversion and compliance efforts. The position is accountable for the management of all perpetual and periodic inventories all supplies received, stored, and issued at Swedish. This position is responsible for management of over $5 million in accountable inventory and over $40 million in annual inventory. Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business or Logistics/Supply Chain Management or equivalent educ/experience An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience 8 years Supply Chain Management experience with 4 years in a healthcare setting 4 years Supply Chain Management experience in a Director/Manager/Supervisory level leadership role Experience creating and successfully executing strategic plans for highly complex issues Healthcare business operations and/or financial management experience in a healthcare setting Experience standardizing complex and disparate processes Experience in process improvement methodology, change management, operational improvement in complex systems Preferred Qualifications: Formal training in Lean/Six Sigma or similar process improvement programs Certification either as a Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP) from the American Hospital Association or a Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) from the Society of Logistics Engineers or similar certification upon hire Why Join Providence?
