Position Overview :

The Infrastructure Engineeris responsible fordelivery of infrastructure services to allHealthEdgecustomers and internal departments. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing complex infrastructure that runs applications which demand extremely high performance. This individual has a broad skill set, attention to detail and a curious attitude – the ability and desire to learn brandnew technologiesand adapt current skills constantly is critical to success in this role.

Your impact :

  • Demonstrates strong knowledge and developingexpertisein technologies

  • Successfully executes all assignmentstimelyand within acceptable quality levels

  • Asks for help and works collaboratively with team members when issues present themselves; does not settle for not knowing the outcome or resolution steps forimportant issues

  • Effective communicator / documenter – documents process and trains team members with ease. Ability to effectively communicate withcustomers, andprovide support whenrequired.

  • Identifiesknowledge gaps and closes them;demonstratesconsistent intellectual curiously and drive to learn more and self-develop himself/herself

  • Perform all job functions consistent withHealthEdgepolicies and procedures, including those which govern handling PHI and PII

  • Triageoperating system, and third-party applications. Working with other operations teams to support our customer base.

  • Helpmaintainlarge server environment of Windows servers, as well as help support Linux administrators withLinux servers.

  • Beapartof the on-call rotation, andsupport environment after hours during rotation.

What you bring :

  • Experience managing Microsoft enterprise infrastructure includingRDS, Active Directory,AD forests,AD Trusts, AzureEntra,DNS, group policy, trusts, and Windows Server2012, 2016, 2019.

  • 3-5Years of experience

  • Strong analytical and deep-dive problem solving skills across multiple disciplines. (HW, OS, Network, etc.)

  • Diagnose and repair system problems working closely with operations teams and vendor support.

  • Ability to work with industry standard tools to troubleshoot.

  • Provide support toapplicationsteams both during the business day and after hours for customer application upgrades.

  • Create andmaintaindocumentation toassistwith cross training and knowledge transfer.Abilitycreateandmaintainenvironment diagrams.

  • Deploying andmanaginga suite of third-party applications used in the environment.

Bonus Points:

  • Ability toidentifyareas that require monitoring, and willing to suggest new monitoringifrequired.Help improve our process andidentifyany gaps in our process to improve our ability to support internal and external customers.

  • Working knowledge of Linux. Ability to add storage toLinux virtual machine.Knowledge of basic Linuxcommands andusing SSH shell.CentOS, Red Hat 8.

  • Experiencing conducting POCs, negotiating and recommending infrastructure purchases

  • Automationexpertisewith tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, or Python, Tanium

  • Virtualization: VMware vSphere administration/Azure VMs/Azure Storage/Virtual Appliances(Working Knowledge)

  • Familiarity with information security frameworks, controls, and concepts including HITRUST, ISO 27001/2, NIST 800-53 rev 4., and/or HIPAA/HITECH
