What You Will Do

We are seeking a Medical Operations Coordinator who embodies a blend of passion for healthcare, analytical prowess, and a drive for operational excellence. As a vital member of our dynamic Medical division, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that our inventory and supply chain operations align seamlessly with our ambitious sales targets and customer needs. Your expertise will help us maintain our leadership in the medical equipment sector, ensuring life-saving devices are available where and when needed.

  • Forecasting and Inventory Management: Work closely with the supply planning team to develop Integrated Business Planning (IBP) forecasts. Utilize sales, marketing, and customer insights, along with historical data, to optimize inventory allocation against budget and market requirements.

  • Supply Coordination: Ensure safety stock levels are set appropriately with CBO team to meet fluctuations in customer demands while minimizing the risk of product expiry. Plan/coordinate advanced ordering/stocking of longer lead time captial with manufacturing and Canadian operations to meet customer and business demands.

  • Order Management: Strategically allocate backordered products as needed to prioritize orders and customers, ensuring critical needs are met promptly.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the business lead, orchestrating the efforts of customer service, logistics, and supply planning to meet our strategic objectives.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships within the Canadian operations and with our US manufacturing partners to support the Canadian Medical division's objectives.

  • Reporting: Provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly projections for orders and revenue. Communicate supply chain issues identified in DSE meetings to stakeholders.

  • Sales Support: Keep the sales team informed on inventory and lead times, and assist in preordering stock to meet sales targets.

  • Sales Enablement: Enhance sales and marketing effectiveness through expert use of platforms like Salesforce.com and Highspot.

  • Fleet Management: Oversee the EMS demo van fleet, ensuring availability for demonstrations.

  • Data Analysis: Collaborate with the data analysis team to develop dashboards that provide insightful views into our sales pipeline and inventory levels.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in operations preferred and preferably in the healthcare or medical equipment industry preferred

  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to synthesize information from diverse sources.

  • Experience with sales enablement tools such as Salesforce.com and Highspot an asset

You will need to live within commuting distance to our Waterdown, Ontario office. You will need to be in the office 2 days a week, but you will have the flexibility to work from home on the other days.
