Aerotek Avionics Technician in Hagerstown, Maryland

Description:

-Repairs, maintains and installs systems used for aircraft navigation and radio communications, weather radar systems and other instruments and computers that control flight, engine and other primary functions.

-Perform inspections, make adjustments and repair, replace components, and correct any malfunction or deficiency with and without power applied to aircraft Perform aircraft maintenance in accordance with applicable technical data, SOPs and FAA/JAA regulations

-An electronic defense company located at the Hagerstown Regional Airport in Hagerstown, MD

-Company operates a MRO facility where they perform military ISR (Intelligence, Reconnaissance, & Surveillance) modifications to a variety of turboprop aircraft (C-12, Dash-8)

-Most of the work performed is based around installations & maintenance of systems on Dash-7 aircraft

-Provide Total System Solutions for Aircraft Modification, Maintenance, Primary Mission Equipment Integration, Operations and Contractor Logistics Support, Lead Systems Integration and full Turn-Key field Operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Military background encouraged to apply

Wire harness building experience

Experience working in MRO facilities are also preferred (AAR, Bombardier, Timco)

Must have tools etched and shadowed

Must be eligible for security clearance
