Corewell Health Support Services Resource Supervisor in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Job description

Serves as the supervisor for the Corewell Health West MI Impact Grant. This role is responsible for ensuring team members are successfully participating in the program while performing standard job responsibilities. Organizes and directs the operations of the program participants, ensuring compliance, financial, budgetary and customer service standards are met. This role will collaborate with department supervisors on schedules to ensure grant participants are successfully meeting program requirements.

Essential functions

  • Supervises grant program participants throughout duration of grant program participation.

  • Conduct performance evaluation, initiating counseling conversations and completing corrective action as appropriate.

  • Partners with supervisors and other stakeholders to deliver an exceptional experience to program participants.

  • Develops strong working relationships with leaders in the organization to understand and support staffing needs while coordinating program participation.

  • Manages grant compliance and logistics around budget, scheduling, time tracking/reporting in an effective manner by ensuring all program participants adhere to the grant processes, policies, and guidelines.

  • Provides and communicates ongoing monthly reports and program evaluations.

  • Reviews, edits, and approves payroll for grant program staff.

Qualifications

  • Required: associate degree or equivalent.

  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources or a related field or equivalent.

  • Required: 5 years of relevant experience in human resources or operations experience and knowledge in medical practices, employment law, contingent staffing, and industry trends.
