Responsibilities: - Develop and write CNC programs for various machining operations - Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts - Perform quality control checks using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other inspection tools - Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize machining processes - Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines and programs - Maintain accurate documentation of programming and machining processes Skills: - Proficient in CNC programming, particularly with Fanuc controls - Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements - Excellent mathematical skills for calculations and problem-solving - Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency - Familiarity with GD&T for accurate interpretation of engineering drawings - Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting machine issues
