Building and Construction Systems, a business unit of Arconic, is the leading manufacturer of architectural aluminum products and systems for the commercial construction industry. Arconic Architectural Products (AAP) helps architects, designers, specifiers and installers achieve their own groundbreaking ideas using our Reynobond | Reynolux products. We have a manufacturing facility in Eastman, Georgia, which manufactures and markets architectural systems and products in North America.

We have an immediate opening for a Logistics Coordinator to support our Arconic Architectural Products (AAP) business. Reporting to the Logistics and Warehouse Manager, the Logistics Coordinator will supports all incoming/outgoing shipments to deliver customer satisfaction. The Logistics Coordinator will work as part of a larger Shipping and Finished Goods Warehouse team and will assist with the administrative duties within both of these departments. The Logistics Coordinator will receive guidance from the Logistics and Warehouse Manager, Finished Goods Supervisor, Customer Service Department and Supply Chain Department.

A successful Logistics Coordinator must possess the following Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Intermediate computer skills, experience in MS Excel and Outlook a plus
  • Ability to create concise, effective communications, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follows direction well and work efficiently
  • Must be organized, detail oriented and a team player
  • Ability to monitor, identify, and troubleshoot issues/problems
  • Exercise independent judgment in order to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Knowledge of Shipping, Truck and Mobile Equipment safety regulations
  • General knowledge of import/export
QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate or GED equivalency
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in an office environment, shipping/receiving or warehouse environment
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
