The Product Database Analyst works with all areas of the business to structure and maintain all products from its conception to the end of its life cycle. The role will require the ability to interpret drawings, conceptualize the data to create complex product configurations that result in an optimized systematic product flow. This role will utilize an engineered change order system to structure the bills of materials, purchased parts and finish options writing configured rules and Macros to create the product to match the Customer Product Pricing Catalogs. This role requires mathematical aptitude, analytical thinking, independent and team capabilities. The person will need to work in a fast-paced environment to meet many of the immediate demands of this role. This person will be part of the support for the new Oracle ERP initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities Include
Take ownership of assigned Product lines. Review drawing and ECN Engineered Change Order to determine the process to use.
Communicate to clarify issues with design requirements and possible limitations
Communicate proposed solutions and pricing and make changes as required based on feedback.
Work with Knoll operations to create and input manufacturing and procurement routings and bills of material.

Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes used in consumer product applications, with ability to problem solve.
Strong oral and written communication skills to facilitate interactions with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
Customer service, accounting and engineering experience helpful
Minimum two years of experience in an office environment
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings
Office furniture experience helpful
- BA/BS in Business/IT or related field or 2-5 years related work experience
