POSITION PROFILE

Knoll, Inc. is seeking a IT Project Manager would be responsible for leading and managing complex technology projects, including management of scope definition, resource allocation, budget, solution design and development, testing, implementation, risk mitigation, documentation, user training/support and maintenance for solutions delivered, and lessons learned exercises. Additional responsibilities include

  • Deep experience managing full life-cycle software projects from initiation through closure

  • Facilitation of the definition of project objectives, scope , resources, timing, goals and deliverables

  • Development of full scale project plans, including project tasks, resource requirements, budgets and timelines

  • Setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and tracking of all project deliverables

  • Distribution of meeting minutes and other standard project deliverables

  • Monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders and executive leadership

  • Provide direction and support to project teams

  • Facilitate risk management, decision making, issue identification and resolution, and lessons learned

Required Skills

  • Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving and time-management abilities

  • Ability to work and track multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience implementing projects in a manufacturing or supply chain environment

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering

  • MBA, Six Sigma, ITIL experience, Agile, and/or PMI certification will be a plus

Required Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience managing complex technology projects

  • Experience with project management methodologies and their execution

  • Familiarity with SOX requirements/compliance is a plus.

  • Experience with Oracle EBS R12 is a plus
