We are seeking an Associate Director, Business Unit Finance to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business in our Durham, NC location.

In this role, you will be providing support to specialty laboratories in the US, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. You will be collaborating closely with leadership as a strategic partner and advisor.

What you’ll be doing:

• Reporting Monthly Financesand Business Partnering

• Owning/building appropriate financial analysis tools (to a high level of detail) which will drive explanation for variance analysis and decision making.

• Developing business plans and tracking/reporting of any business improvement or strategic opportunities.

• Analyzing revenue and backlog.

• Deliveringaccurate, insightful financial analysis on actual results/trends and forecasting to allow for improved decision making and driving financial improvements.

• Assisting in implementation of management and administrative financial systems, policies, and procedures.

• Modelling/reporting of Adhoc financials as required.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance.

• Seven (7) + years of work experience in financial planning and analysis, including exposure to the monthly closing, budgeting & forecasting requirements of a publicly traded company.

• Work experience within the CRO, pharmaceutical and/or healthcare information industries preferred.

• Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

• Demonstrates credibility and the ability to engage with senior operational management.

• Possesses strong numeracy and analytical skills, along with effective communication abilities for various staff levels.

• Skilled in Hyperion financial planning and reporting systems, PeopleSoft (desirable), and proficient with MS Office tools, including advanced Excel modeling.

• Capable of thriving under pressure and quickly adapting to changing priorities and business situations.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $101,200.00 - $172,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
