Requisition Summary PACCAR is searching for talented individuals to join our 2024 Powertrain Division Accounting Internship Program! The Accounting Internship Program will place selected candidates in our Powertrain Division in Bellevue, WA. We are pleased you are seeking an internship with PACCAR and wish you the best of luck! Internships include unique learning opportunities such as: Learn first-hand from the industry's topprofessionals. Work directly with Senior Managers and Controllers Develop mentoring relationships with experiencedaccountants. Gain valuable hands-onexperience. The internship is scheduled to begin in May or June 2024. Job Functions / Responsibilities Assist in month-end closing procedures including reconciliation, journal entries, andreporting. Manage department forecast files. Update and consolidate input templates for global program allocations. Update metric reports for global programs in PowerQuery. Additional projects as assigned to support Global Engine and ePowertrain organizations. Skills / Competencies Proficient in Microsoft Office Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task Resourceful and a self-starter Strong professionalism Analytical and critical thinking Sense of urgency Education Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or other related fields. The salary range for internship positions is $25 an hour for undergraduate students and $30 an hour for graduate students.
