Job Description

A client in hospitality and food service is hiring food service works to oversee the serving line in a correctional facility in Carlisle, Indiana. In this role, employees will undergo training around personal protection and food safety to complete the goal of supervising inmate workers preparing food & distributing food to other inmates in the serving line. This role operates 3 days per week, each shift will be 13 hours long and start around 3am. In any given day, this facility is putting out around 6500 meals, so comfortability in a fast-paced, attention to detail environment is important. This role has an opportunity for advancement with a great company!

Appearance requirements:

- No fake nails, no nail polish

- Fake eyelashes need to be semi-natural

- Jewelry: single stud earrings, necklaces cannot be long enough to dangle into food, single wedding bands only, no nose piercings

- Visible tattoos are okay (prefer no face, neck tattoos)

- Long hair needs to be pulled back into a baseball cap, ponytail or hair net

- Facial hair is okay, but beard nets will be required

- Uniform:

o Client will provide a polo and shoes, black or blue pants are required these need to be baggy, not tight pants
