iMPact Business Group Master Electrician (1st Shift) - 25199 in Cadillac, Michigan

We are seeking a skilled and certified Master Electrician for 1st shift to join our clients manufacturing maintenance team. The Master Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and machinery within our clients manufacturing facility. This role requires a thorough knowledge of electrical systems, high-level problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, service, and repair wiring, conduits, fixtures, and other electrical devices and systems in an industrial setting.
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical issues with machinery, equipment, and building systems.
  • Ensure all electrical work performed is up to code and meets national, state, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with management and maintenance team to schedule repairs and routine maintenance.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Train and mentor junior electricians and other maintenance staff.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maintain the efficiency of production equipment.
  • Prepare and maintain records on electrical operations and daily activities.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Master Electrician with valid state license.
  • Extensive experience in industrial or manufacturing settings.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Physical ability to perform job tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
  • High school diploma required; additional certification or degree in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.
