We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Bellevue, Washington. In this role, you will oversee all accounting functions within the organization, develop system controls to ensure data integrity, and manage the preparation of financial statements and reports. You will also play a crucial role in leading our audit processes in collaboration with external auditors.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all accounting functions and activities within the organization

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and summaries that reflect the financial performance of the company

• Develop and implement system controls for ensuring data integrity and formulating cost efficiencies

• Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including month and year-end processes, accounts payable/receivable, cash statements, general ledger, capital assets reconciliations, check runs, and fixed asset activity

• Ensure compliance with management's reporting requirements

• Lead the company’s audit process in association with external auditors

• Leverage skills in Property Accounting, Month End Close, Year End Closings, Financial Statement, Yardi, Audit Functions, and Prepare Financial Reports

• Utilize leadership skills to drive the performance of the accounting department

• Implement strong internal control measures

• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions

• Oversee daily cash flow, general ledger, capital assets, reconciliations, check runs, and fixed assets.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000.

Requirements • Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or Supervisor.

• Proficiency in Property Accounting.

• Experience with Month End Close and Year End Closings.

• Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements.

• Familiarity with Yardi accounting software.

• Experience in Audit Functions including internal control and reconciliations.

• Ability to Prepare Financial Reports in a timely and accurate manner.

• Strong Leadership Skills to manage and guide the accounting team.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Experience in managing Daily Cash Flow.

• Proficient in the use of General Ledger.

• Understanding of Capital Assets and Fixed Assets management.

• Expertise in performing Reconciliations.

• Experience in managing Check Runs.

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required.

• Professional accounting certification, such as CPA or CMA, is preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, and accounting software.
