Location : Austin, TX

Realtor.com is in search of a Content Strategist to join our Marketing team, responsible for crafting engaging content to support the New Homes category. In this role, you'll play a key part in developing, executing, and assessing our content and communication strategies tailored primarily to our New Homes consumers and builders.

Working closely with the integrated marketing team, you'll collaborate to develop compelling content that resonates with our target audiences. Your contributions will be key in further solidifying our position as the premier destination for discovering new home construction while ensuring the success of our valued customers.

As part of our mission-driven team, dedicated to leading the market in new home discovery and customer satisfaction, you'll have the opportunity to share your expertise in content marketing with your peers and supervisors to continually enhance the quality of our content and communications.

What you’ll do:

  • Curate and produce informative content aimed at attracting, nurturing, and retaining customers, ensuring alignment with internal and external subject matter experts (SMEs).

  • Develop and implement content strategies leveraging SEO best practices to enhance blog performance, social engagement, and customer growth.

  • Manage social media and content calendars to generate a balanced mix of short and long-form content, that builds product awareness and establishes thought leadership within the industry.

  • Partner with marketing team members on all aspects of social marketing, from posting to monitoring and reporting.

  • Conduct thorough weekly and monthly analytics for blogs and social media platforms, utilizing insights to optimize content strategy and drive performance improvements.

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute quarterly webinars focused on construction industry advancements, trends, and best practices, managing all aspects of logistics, content development, promotion, and post-event editing and distribution.

  • Maintain regular communication with builders through the HubSpot platform, ensuring timely distribution of product release announcements, updates, and curated content via monthly newsletters and content calendars.

  • Assist in creating training materials and guides for new homes product releases.

  • Support integrated new home consumer programs when applicable.

  • Occasionally provide support for integrated marketing initiatives within our buy, sell, and rental categories.

What you'll bring:

Education, Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of marketing experience including expertise in social and content marketing channels, including a range of content formats and mediums.

  • Experience managing social ads, budgets, and monitoring tools is strongly preferred.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal including the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong and prolific writing skills. Must be able to identify customer needs and create impactful content to address these needs.

  • Strong analytical skills. Must be able to experiment and measure results to improve performance and demonstrate success.

  • Strong organizational skills. Must be able to work collaboratively across teams and identify which contributions are needed and when to ensure each team member has adequate time to execute on the plan.

  • Must be able to succeed in a fast-paced environment, prioritize projects, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
