Cloud Platform Sales Representative, Government and Education - Federal Civilian

We have an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, growing team helping Federal Agencies solve meaningful problems with the latest cloud and automation technologies! Oracle Cloud Account Managers lead a diverse team of experts that put our customers’ mission first and ensure their success with Oracle IaaS and PaaS offerings. These services already meet strict FedRAMP requirements and are higher performance and lower cost than any other hyperscale cloud provider.

The growing Oracle Federal cloud team is looking for leaders that are passionate about building sustained customer relationships and working with the brightest people to solve customer challenges. You will set your territory strategy to drive growth and act as the captain of a deep team of Technical, Marketing, Product, Business Development, and Partner experts with the support of Executive leadership. The ideal candidate has a track record of consultative engagements with agency leaders at the CxO level to identify business and technical challenges and convey the value of the appropriate solutions.

Your knowledge of the customers’ current technology and focus on overcoming barriers to their success will lead you to identify, pursue and win a growing number of workloads across your territory. You will have daily interactions with your agencies and our partner network that supports their mission.

In your role, you will:

  • Ensure customer success with Oracle Cloud, resulting in revenue and market share growth

  • Work effectively as a teammate in a collaborative and fast-paced environment

  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline and accurate forecast of business opportunities

  • Prepare and deliver business reviews to the management team regarding quarterly and yearly strategies to meet cloud revenue growth expectations

  • Manage sophisticated contract negotiations and coordinate with channels, contracts, and legal to close business

  • Have fun!

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of enterprise field sales experience

  • 5+ years of sales experience selling enterprise software, hardware, managed hosting services or cloud services

  • Track record of consistent attainment

  • Strong communication and organization skills

  • Open to travel 30-50% of the time

  • BA/BS degree required

  • US citizen

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $110,000 to $185,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 45/55.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
