Position Purpose

Responsible for the leadership and oversight of all maintenance associates and activities for assigned division and regions of distribution centers.  Ensures all supply chain buildings, equipment, and mechanization is functional, well maintained, and safe for associates by developing and implementing standard operating procedures as well as training programs for Distribution Center maintenance and operations support teams.

• Ensures the assigned buildings systems are functioning and in a safe environment, clean and maintained I/A/W specifications and lease requirements.

• Leading major capital projects, capital repairs strategies, expense budgets oversight/ planning, business strategies goals planning/ setting and regulatory compliance.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

• Oversees maintenance process and issue resolution to improve the quality and accuracy of maintenance operations in the Distribution Centers.

• Provides root cause analysis and resolution directly related to the mechanization performance.

• Ensures compliance to processes and develops standard operating procedures while directing the training and execution for building maintenance associates.

• Manages team to implement and consistently execute various tools to enable effective education and direction of maintenance teams at assigned sites.

• Leads the partnership with facilities support teams, other supply chain teams, and vendors on analysis and vendor related issues to drive improvements in the issue resolution process.

• Communicates current opportunities, action plans, and site performance with leaders and cross functional partners.

• Responsible for the development of team to include leaders, maintenance skillset, and customer service.

• Administers the mechanization operation at optimal levels through audit programs and feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in facilities maintenance management preferred.

• Managerial experience highly desired.
