Responsibilities

  • Source and order goods/services in a transparent, effective, efficient, ethical and cost effective manner in accordance with Weatherford policies and procedures.

  • Assistance in collection and update of information required for raising contracts with vendors.

  • Following current procedure, arrange for tenders accordingly to the total expected bid value, by using Bidding form.

  • Take control on all open orders and make sure the goods/services are received in time. Update Product Lines with orders status. Ensure any delay in delivery is communicated immediately once known in order to develop alternative solutions as applicable.

  • Liaise with Freight Agents, customs brokers on incoming and outgoing shipments. tracking of all imports / exports including equipment requiring being re-imported/re-exported annually and customs documentation.

  • Verification of invoices and acts, including any supporting documentation, for proper information prior to passing for payment. Any deviations must be fixed before sending invoices for payment.

  • Monitor and report updates of various logs in a timely manner as and when information is available.

  • Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements,

Qualifications

  • Min 3 years of previous experience in procurement and logistics

  • Previous oil and gas experience is preferrable

  • Higher education

  • Advanced English skills, written and spoken

  • PC proficiency - MS Office package, Oracle experience will be advantage
